Flour tortillas made by hand at Pochitos Tortilla Factory in north Denver, the same family-owned shop that's been making tortillas and tamales from scratch since 1997. No preservatives, no shortcuts, nothing that doesn't belong in a tortilla.

A fresh handmade flour tortilla is a different thing than what comes in a plastic bag at the grocery store. The texture is softer, the flavor is actually there, and they warm up in a dry pan in under a minute. Once you've had one you'll understand why the Luna family has been feeding Denver for nearly three decades.

Good for: tacos and burritos, quesadillas, wrapping up eggs and green chile for breakfast, warming straight on a gas flame for charred edges, a side for any bowl or soup that needs something to scoop with.

Keep refrigerated. Best within 5 to 7 days. Warm in a dry skillet or directly on a gas burner for 20 to 30 seconds per side.
