A fall lettuce blend of red and green leaf varieties, cut fresh and bagged. Softer than the Summer Crisp mix, with a range of flavors from mild and buttery to slightly bitter at the edges. The color mix alone makes a salad look like you put thought into it.

Fall lettuce grows slower and sweeter in cooler soil. That shows up in the flavor. These aren't the same leaves you get in July — the cooler nights concentrate the sugars and deepen the color.

Good for: a simple dressed salad that doesn't need much help, a base for grain bowls and roasted vegetables, sandwiches and wraps, pairing with the Yoder chevre and a light vinaigrette.

Keep the leaves dry in the fridge and the bag stays fresh through the week. Don't wash until you're ready to use.
