Hatch chiles roasted fresh right here on the farm. Pick your heat level: Mild, Medium, Hot, or Extra Hot. The roasting is the step most people skip because it's a hassle. We do it for you, so the smoky, slightly sweet flavor is already locked in when it reaches your door.
Hatch chile has a distinct earthy depth that sets it apart from any other pepper. Roasting concentrates that flavor and loosens the skin so it peels clean. About eight chiles per bag, enough for a pot of green chile, a week of eggs, or a serious burrito situation.
Good for: green chile stew, smothering burritos and enchiladas, folding into scrambled eggs, queso and dips, freezing for winter when Hatch season is long gone.
Fresh-roasted and best used within several days, or freeze the bag flat and pull chiles as you need them throughout the season. Thaw in the fridge overnight.
